I'm starting some API projects with Anthropic's Claude to help analyze data from my online classes, specifically comparing results from synchronous and asynchronous versions of the same Fundamentals of 2D Design course.
However, today a student pointed out that the Deadline Policies for our course deducted letter grades for each class a project is late. Of course, asynchronous courses don't have classes. I made three drafts before editing it with Claude*, plus ran it by another professor, and none of us noticed the logical error.
Ergo Claude is as human as us!
*Claude caught that I had originally typed “Clause” and suggested I leave the typo as a meta-joke.
